Ra made the mistake of growing old.
When mankind began to whisper of rebellion, the sun god sent his Eye to answer — and the Eye took the form of a lioness. Sekhmet, the Powerful One. She walked into the desert and began to kill, and the killing pleased her. She would have ended mankind entirely, had Ra not poured seven thousand jars of beer, dyed the colour of blood, across her path at dawn.
She drank until she could not stand, and slept. The destroyer woke as Hathor. The goddess who ended the world was the one who spared it.
The piece carries that hour. On the back, a black lioness walks straight at you, a golden cobra rising from her crown, a slash of oxblood torn open behind her. On the chest, her head alone, mid-roar, a serpent coiled behind the mane. Ink and oxblood with a thread of gold, on Bone White.

The Details
Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colours. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse if needed. The fabric softens with each wash but holds its form.
